  • The OneDoor app merges Doordeck’s keyless access platform with STANLEY Security’s hardware lineup.
  • OneDoor is designed to work directly with existing STANLEY infrastructure, already installed on thousands of doors across the UK.
  • It means customers will be able to roll out smartphone-based access to an entire building in under an hour, without needing any additional hardware.
  • The product is launching at IFSEC on 19th June 2018.

Doordeck and STANLEY Security today announced their new partnership, bringing the technology behind Doordeck’s smart keyless access platform to STANLEY Security’s world-leading hardware lineup.

The two companies have collaborated to launch STANLEY OneDoor, a cloud-based security platform that allows users to access their office using their smartphone instead of a keycard. Unlike other ‘smart locks’ on the market, STANLEY OneDoor is the only product of its kind designed to be backwards-compatible with existing STANLEY infrastructure — meaning users can install OneDoor without the need for any new wires or hardware. The platform can be rolled out to an entire building in under an hour, and is priced simply per door, per month, with unlimited users.

Additional features like time-limited virtual Visitor Passes and NFC scanning means using OneDoor is as quick and easy to use as Apple Pay — causing less headaches for building managers and building users alike. Despite being retrofitted to existing hardware, OneDoor uses bank-level encryption to offer unparalleled levels of security and reliability. Plus, since the platform is cloud-based, new users can be onboarded from anywhere using just their email address.

The CEO of Doordeck, said of the partnership:

“Working with STANLEY is a huge, validating moment for us; STANLEY’s hardware was the perfect fit for Doordeck’s technology and we’re thrilled to see OneDoor getting its debut at IFSEC. By designing STANLEY OneDoor to be backwards-compatible, it opens up a thriving and exciting market — where we can give STANLEY customers access to a truly innovative solution, without the high upfront costs typically involved with installing smart locks. Working with STANLEY to roll out OneDoor means we can get our platform in the hands of even more people, whilst allowing us at Doordeck to focus on making the experiences even better.”

STANLEY OneDoor will be on demo at the IFSEC security conference at ExCeL London between 19–21 June. Free tickets are available via Doordeck from this link. It is available immediately for all existing STANLEY customers in the UK, before planned expansion to France and Germany.
